Okay, I'm still TRYing to get into tweeting. (It's your fault Pixie for constantly raving you'd rather tweet than blog.) I don't know. I also tried to join facebook because of some of you - don't really like it so much. Which do y'all like better - facebook or twitter? So far I still like blogging.
My hip is feeling better, not limping as much. Perhaps I'll be able to get off the sick list & fly again in Sept. Then again....
The cortizone shots are starting to work.
Was able to connect with a dear friend from the far-away past on twitter, Nickielee! This is a blessing.

I can't compare FB and Twitter b/c mine are separate "audiences." FB is for my family and coworkers and 3D friends, Fran wants me to keep the blog friends separate. Twitter is the lazy blog for me. Tweet the moments, blog the thoughts is kind of how I see it.

I don't think you can turn off just one subscription, I have the same issue with TMZ, and with the CT Sun during games.
Yeah, she made me laugh too, but I'd heard it from her before. Still makes me laugh, we love that wild woman!
I prefer Facebook. I didn't like it at first because but if you just stick with posting messages on your wall and don't worry about the extra stuff, you'll get the hang of it and come to like it.
I don't care for Twitter but, like anything else, it's a matter of personal preference.

I use all 3 and I think all three have their place. But not one is better than the others :)

I have a Twitter account, but don't tweet much. I'm on facebook (as you know) and can't really say I like it better than Twitter. It's different (& more -like-) blogging than Twitter, but won't replace blogging for me.
I think I follow eb's line of thinking on this, if you don't get blown away by the bells and whistles that are facebook, you can relax into it, I think. It can be overwhelming, but you can filter some of the stuff out...
I'm still trying to find my way and how it fits into my life and sensibilities. ;)
