OMG! Our phone landline was out of commission for 5 days, but it SEEMED like way over a week! I thought I would die without my computer, dANG! I am so happy to have the phone back, just using my cell was a drag. Ahh, the small things in life! Thank you God.

I gave up a land phone 4 years ago and don't miss it ONE BIT! People can reach me anytime, no matter where I am.

okay, I admit I use dial up. heh heh...
I TRIED getting dsl, but I couldn't get it on, i am totally BAD at technical stuff. It just wouldn't work for me. and besides it was much more expensive. So I finally cancelled it. So Im still using dial up. Seeing that I never had the other I dont miss it.
